Week of May 24

This week we,

LA- Presented our book projects and worked on a rhyming poem.

Math- Investigated measurement units and measured items. We also began a 3D picture using rectangular prisms.

Social- Looked at Ukraine's government. 

Science- Began our study of sound and how we hear.

- Monday, May 31st is a PD Day - no school.

- Wednesday, June 2nd is Red Shirt Day for Easter Seal's Awareness. You can wear a red shirt to replace your TLC shirt to support those with disabilities. This is NOT a casual dress day.

- Friday, June 4th is Sports Day for grade 3's. This is a CASUAL DRESS DAY. Our class colour is GREEN!

This week in

LA -Students continued their climbing stories where they created a problem and sequential events to solve the problem.

-Students continued their novel studies 

Math- We wrapped up our fraction unit and reviewed our quiz.

Science- Students are finishing up their animal creations making them stable and have almost completed their popsicle stick bridges which we hope to test next week.

Social-We concluded our study of Tunisia and students are finalizing their Jamboard project about Tunisia and the quality of life citizens have there.
